When The Guiding Light Church was formed, Jim was called to be the Assistant Pastor. When the original Pastor was called to another work, he became the Pastor.
On May 6, 2003, James L. Lowe, Jr. was ordained as a bishop by the International Communion of Charismatic Churches and Bishop Earl Paulk in The Cathedral at Chapel Hills - Decatur, Georgia.
Because of "Bishop" Lowe's obedience to the Word, he has witnessed the Mighty Hand of God prospering this ministry for more than 20 years.
A powerfully anointed Bible teacher and visionary pastor, Bishop was instrumental in establishing several ministries. Bishop Jim Lowe is committed to carrying out the vision that God has given him, "to build and maintain an army of saints that will inflict severe and heavy casualties on the enemy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
