As Christians, many of us are familiar with the Scripture in John 3:16  that says God so loved the world he gave his only son so that whosoever believes on him might have eternal life. And then in that same chapter he states in verse 36 Everyone who has faith in the son has eternal life. But no one who rejects him will ever share in that life, and God will be angry with them forever. (CEV)

This Scripture makes it plain that all believers in Christ have eternal life and those who reject Him or don't believe in Christ will never have it. Nevertheless, because of God's love, He wants all of mankind to have the opportunity to have a choice for eternal life. Therefore,  just before Jesus returned to the father He gave the power of his Holy Spirit for those who believe to be witnesses of the message of life all throughout the world. He gave us the very same power Jesus used so that countless millions might have the opportunity to believe through the message we share with them.

This is a tremendous honor that has been given to us as believers, to share the message in the Earth that will have the same results that Jesus had. Think about that! The message of salvation in the name of Jesus by the power of His Holy Spirit. Every believer has been given this divine power to be able to share life with every human being no matter whatever state they are in. Rich or poor, great or small, famous or unknown will have the ability to experience eternal life just like us through the words we speak to them. We have the power to give them the opportunity to share with us the most important thing they can ever acquire in life. How awesome and how wonderful it is to experience His power working in us as we do as He commands!

Then also, the Bible makes it clear, if they don't hear the message of life, they can't believe and if they don't believe they can't share in eternal life with us. Therefore, we have been sent by Christ to share with them what we know so that they too might believe and experience eternal life with us. This is exactly what John said in 1 John 1:3 (CEV).

Their eternal destiny with God, or without Him, rests in our hands. Therefore, brothers and sisters, let us learn to take advantage of the great honor and power given to us by God and SHARE LIFE!
